SCIENCE LAB

A Science lab is a workplace for the conduct of scientific research. It helps students to remember the concepts better. It helps to transfer the experience to other learning situations. It is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific research, experiments and measurement may be performed. All the laboratories are well-stocked with sufficient chemicals, specimens and instruments so that every student gets the opportunity to carry out the experiments individually. Well-qualified and experienced teachers guide the students to explore the world of science through a meticulously planned schedule of practical classes. Moreover, the safety of every child while handling the chemicals and instruments is duly taken care off.

COMPUTER LAB

Information technology has become integral to every walk of life. With fully-equipped computer lab, we expose students to computer education at an early stage . We have qualified teachers for assisting students to search for information, create multimedia presentations, execute project work and creatively present the content that they have gathered after comprehensive search from multiple sources.
The IT teachers work hard with the students to sharpen their skills so that they can compete with students from different parts of country.

LIBRARY

Our school library provides quiet and tranquil environs where children can come to satiate their quest for knowledge. Library has been designed with colourful furniture and a vibrant environment to make the reading experience enticing. The library at SGHSP has a rich treasure trove of encyclopedias, illustrated dictionaries and popular science books along with series such as Tell Me Why and the Book of Knowledge. It is well-stocked with books: classic, modern and contemporary works of literature in both Hindi and English languages. Moreover, there is a good collection of latest editions in career counseling, personality development, etc.
With the aim of inculcating a lifelong passion for books and knowledge, we encourage all students to make the most of their library sessions.

OTHER FACILITIES

SPORTS & GAMES
Physical Education is provided with healthy sports and games. Capable instructors are readily made available. Individual performance of the students is given all attention along with the instilling of spirit of co- operation and sportsmanship. There is arrangement for team games: Football, Basketball, Badminton, Volley-Ball, Kabbadi, etc. The School organize Sports week every year to encourage competition, which displays strength, stamina, vigor and sportsmanship. Numerous athletic events like Long Jump, Shot put, Relay race, etc. take place during the Sports Week.

SMARTCLASS-CLASS TRANSFORMATION SYSTEM (CTS)
Smartclass CTS offers a holistic teaching learning experience with every possible instruction and assessment element required by the teacher in class. Be it animation. question Bank, mind maps, worksheets ,unique teaching ideas ,real life applications of concepts, topic summaries, weblinks, diagram makers, simulations and teacher created resources.
Smartclass CTS enables Teacher to effectively and seamlessly engage, explore, explain, elaborate and evaluate learners with a host of instruction and assessment materials made available to them through an easy to use interface.

REAL LIFE APPLICATIONS
To help students understand various concepts and their relevance In day-to-day life. We are providing every chapter (wherever relevant and possible) with real life applications. These are quick and short notes that will help students to appreciate the application of theories and concepts in life and also understand the significance of past events on our current lives.

PARENTS TEACHERS INTERACTIONS
In order to establish a good relationship between the school & parents normally meetings are held on the last Saturday of every month to discuss the progress of each child.

COUNSELLING CELL
Stress and anxiety weigh heavily young minds. Being focused is at times difficult. Counselling helps young learner to overcome all hurdles and move ahead right guidance not only boosts their morale but enables them to evolve them to better strategies to face and Excel. The school teachers assist the students by being a friend and a guide. Once a week the Principal meets each class listen to them and give a general lecture to develop good value system.
